[Marluxia is out today, actually on a walk. He actually seems somewhat pleased today. He's outdoors for the first time in awhile, and he's enjoying said outdoorsness. Meaning he might be pleasant to talk to for once. He is flower-aligned, after all. Dare you approach him? If you do, you might earn a genuine smile. And that is something that might be worth seeing.]

[Marluxia's lounging in a chair, trying to ignore the presence of the thing this place calls his wife. Like he would wed some brainless, ever-smiling dolt. Perhaps long ago, in another life, but that is not now. Instead, he'll simply take up the phone and make a call to... Anyone who will listen.]

This world has a tendency to numb the brain, doesn't it? Perhaps that is its trap. Luring one into a sense of repetition, dulling the mind and leaving one to fall into the snare. Hm, hardly something I like. Does anyone here play chess, perhaps? It is best to keep one's mind sharp, after all, and I can think of no better way to do so.

[Marluxia is quite unsure of his surroundings. Surely this must be some jest, for any semblance of family has been eliminated where he is from. He is not the marrying kind, and children had been the farthest thing from his mind. And the things that only resemble humans are quite annoying. This must be some twisted punishment for his betrayal. He can, after all, no longer feel the presence of the plants around this much-too-perfect house.]
[And now, a phone call]
Whoever felt it a wonderful prank or punishment to reduce me to a mere human, I applaud your audacity. It is truly a magnificent play. Instead of seeing my transformation into a Dusk, you would instead strip me of my rank, authority and power. And then to place me in this prison? And the removal of my coat? A perfect means of stranding me within this world. You've earned my applause.
